As fact per the Minnesota Legislature it is illegal to drive, be in control or operate any motor vehicle while you are under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances or hazardous substances. Per Law, you will be charged with a DWI in Minnesota if you have a alcohol concentration of .08, or any amount of metabolites or controlled substance in the body. If you refuse to submit to a test this can also result in a DWI charge. It is important to know that if you are a Commercial driver the limit is .04 or more in Minnesota.
